Virtual Reality

Ubiquity refers to the ability to be present in several places at once. This concept provides the starting point for this immersive and interactive performance, conceived as a festive ceremony at the intersection of playwriting and virtual reality.

A ritual begins, in a large circle and through movement. The performers invite anyone who wishes to join them to put on a virtual reality headset. Their gaze changes as they plunge into a digital, sensory world that encourages them to move and travel physically through space. Their movements, prompted by virtual reality, create a choreography that the dancers support, complement and amplify. The headsets become masks; a shared, hybrid body emerges, carried by the energy of live electronic music, infectious joy, a festive atmosphere and a collective momentum.
