School performances, from nursery school to secondary school

Throughout the season, Les Brigittines offers performances for children of primary and secondary school age. 

From 16 to 31 January 2026, the second edition of BANDIT! BANDIET!, the festival for children aged 2 to 12, will bring around 20 performances to the stage, all presented during school hours.

Alongside the festival, daytime performances for secondary-school pupils and evening performances for older teenagers will be programmed throughout the season.

Activities in schools

At your request, our audience engagement coordinator can come to your classroom to lead an activity linked to your theatre visit.

Before the performance, pupils are invited to explore the themes of the production and prepare for the theatre experience, in collaboration with the teacher.

After the performance, the session offers space to reflect on what they have seen, share impressions and discuss the questions the work has raised.

Post-show discussion

Our audience engagement coordinator can also lead, or co-lead with the teacher, a post-show discussion for pupils who wish to share their initial thoughts, ask questions of the artistic team or simply express the emotions sparked by the performance.

School projects throughout the season

Les Brigittines develops educational projects with pupils from nursery through to secondary school, supported by grants from the French-speaking public authorities. 

Offered completely free of charge to schools, these long-term projects create lasting relationships of trust with young audiences, fostering meaningful encounters, creativity and opportunities for self-expression.

With higher and arts education

Les Brigittines offers reduced student rates and even lower rates for performing arts students. 

For several years now, we have also been co-organising critical analysis workshops for performing arts Master’s students at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, as part of a programme that takes them to discover a selection of shows before returning to study them critically.

We are at your disposal to devise formats tailored to your institutions and student groups.
