Clad in outrageously tight Lycra suits, two performers battle relentlessly for the audience’s attention. Each is shadowed by an AI-generated voice — an unsettling alter ego that comments on, imitates and challenges their every move.
Playful yet bittersweet, Life in Lycra mischievously explores the power dynamics at play between performers on stage. The result is a manic, surreal melodrama revealing just how absurd - and hilariously fragile - everything can become when we take ourselves too seriously.
