On the Edge

During ON THE EDGE, we move beyond the heart of dance and explore the outer reaches of performance, brushing up against circus and even music. In March, Les Brigittines enters a borderland where movement takes on other forms.

For this second edition, in a season permeated by the violence in the world and a deep-rooted need to create meaning, artists tell us stories. From an Afro-futurist science-fiction tale to a dance ritual in virtual reality: it’s not all doom and gloom. Because all these works and artists have one thing in common: a keen sense of the cross-pollination between art and fiction, and a desire to thoroughly shake up reality.
