Poursuivez la soirée avec un concert [Angie Schaeffer ou Why The Eye ?]
Les Brigittines regret to announce that they have had to cancel the performances of the show due to health concerns affecting one of the two artists in the show.
As a replacement, we invite you to come along on the same dates to see Benjamin Kahn's show ‘Bless the Sound that Saved a Witch like me’.
Seeing Knights of the Invisible, with Iona Kewney and Joseph Quimby on stage, is an experience that must be lived before it can be described, as the performance is the result of an existential search for chaos. Their universe is both abstract and hyper realistic, where raw, guttural rock soundscapes meet bodies pushed to the edge. The dance teeters between contortion and trance, channelling a spectrum from exposed vulnerability to the outermost limits of physical expression.
The artists subject the body to the sounds and to themselves, giving the moment they share with the audience a vital meaning: that of the transcendence of reality, that of the necessity of chaos. Waiting For The Sea Eagles is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
