Why the Eye ? is a masked quartet of DIY instruments, founded in Brussels in 2013 with instruments made by DjP. The quartet, with their strange, hairy masks, deliver hypnotic, raw music that they themselves have coined as ‘prehistoric techno’. Their tribal, noisy, experimental concoction shakes bodies into a trance. Low-fi, hairy results guaranteed! The distinctive tones of handmade instruments and the haunting, improvised rhythms carry the audience on a raw, organic journey.
