Followed by Live in Brigittines : Mercedes Dassy invite GEM&I
For two decades, Vincent Glowinski has made Brussels the scene of prolific street art. His work is particularly prominent in the Les Brigittines neighbourhood, where it has become part of the collective imagination. Although he has never stopped painting, the artist has also never stopped trying to transcend his artistic practice, particularly through live performances. Through his experiences, in collaboration with developer Jean-François Roversi, he has devised a unique way of creating and bringing his images to life, like a real show.
An improvisational musician with a penchant for experimental music, but also a visual and video artist, Florian Guibert is a multidisciplinary performer par excellence. His art is all about the interaction between music and moving images, seeking the tipping point and blurring the senses.
For Live in Brigittines, we are giving them carte blanche to imagine what the combination of their worlds could lead to in the Chapel. Between the grey stones steeped in human history and beneath the soaring fifteen-metre-high ceiling, the audience is invited to discover the Immeasurable.
