Meet the artists after the show on 24.01

Defying age and time, Michèle Noiret returns to the stage with a new solo that is resolutely contemporary, without the slightest hint of nostalgia.

With apparent simplicity, she performs a spirited, personal dance in which the body asserts its vitality with an incredible expressive power. Devoid of any artifice, she plays with her own image and does so with tenderness, mockery and humour. In her way, she denounces the dictates of the youth cult when it comes to women's bodies. Like in a fragmented mirror, the choreographer takes us into a labyrinthine narrative that adopts the form of a both sublime and fascinating self-portrait.
