ICI BRUXELLES
International encounters for professionals, highlighting Brussels creation
From 5 to 7 November, Les Brigittines, Théâtre Les Tanneurs, Théâtre Varia and Le Rideau, in collaboration with Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse, will be joining forces to shine the spotlight on Brussels-based creation. Over three days, Belgian and foreign programmers and audiences will be able to discover nine shows and attend presentations of current and future projects.
Objectif Danse
This biennial contemporary dance platform of the Walloon-Brussels Federation has become a fixture within the landscape of francophone Belgian dance creation. The elfth edition brought together some 90 international professionals from 21 countries over three days in October 23.
FEAS
In 2020, Les Brigittines joined FEAS with a view to making a valuable contribution to cultural policy, supporting the performing arts and the interests of its members as well as their employees, and to promoting cooperation and exchanges.
Les Brigittines is particularly committed to environmental issues.
RABKO
Created by Brussels-based cultural organisations with the intention of encouraging dialogue and stimulating synergies, the Réseau des Arts à Bruxelles (RAB) and the Brussels Kunstenoverleg (BKO) have now joined forces to form RABKO, a platform dedicated to supporting and protecting the arts and culture in Brussels.
Besides our role as a resource centre and a preferred political interlocutor for cultural issues, RABKO is committed to encouraging reflection and consultation by organising meetings around themes relevant to the cultural sector.
Sustainability and solidarity form an integral part of our work and have their own dedicated platforms: SamenDurable and United Solidarity.
United Solidarity
Les Brigittines forms part of the venues united under the United Solidarity label, a working group open to all cultural players wishing to fight for migration rights. It is a platform for meeting cultural players, exchanging information and ideas, and collaborating on specific campaigns. The aim is to mobilise the cultural sector to play an active role in defending migrants’ rights and promoting positive social change.
By taking part in United Solidarity, you are invited to:
- keep up to date: access relevant resources and information on current migration issues.
- share: share experiences and best practices with other committed players.
- take action: design and implement joint initiatives, such as awareness campaigns, cultural events and fundraising events.
All donations from spectators in 2023 went to the association La Voix des sans papiers.
